Meet Matt
Matt Hirsch founded Upper Room Business Solutions in 2020, bringing 15+ years of experience in the behavioral health field — including a decade leading operations at Transformations Treatment Center in Delray Beach, FL, where he served as President/CEO and, before that, EVP of Administration. During his tenure, Matt led the company through a successful sale to a private equity group, led its AHCA accreditation to treat clients with a primary mental health diagnosis, and personally built VA and military referral relationships that have helped thousands of veterans access care.
Earlier in his career as Director of Admissions, Matt grew Transformations from a 32-bed facility to 72 beds in under 10 months, managed daily operations for admissions teams, and kept the program consistently above 85% capacity. Along the way, he brought revenue cycle management in-house, increased collections, and helped the portfolio expand into detox, lab, and professional medical services — growing profit by more than 10% year over year.
For the past five years, Matt has been consulting directly in the behavioral health space through Upper Room Business Solutions — working across licensing, credentialing, billing, staffing, and marketing, with a particular focus on VA and military referral relationships and operational efficiency.
Today, Matt brings that same operator's perspective to Upper Room's clients — helping behavioral health providers across the country get licensed, get credentialed, get paid, and grow, without the guesswork.
